Kelowna Photographer Desmond Murray has decades of award-winning experience that has been trusted by major city daily newspapers, international magazines, plus dozens of Okanagan businesses, agencies and organizations.Serving Kelowna area since 1993, Desmond is a leader in media and public relations work, plus architectural and commercial photography.

A professional success for more than 20 years, Desmond's experience includes work at one of the premier commercial photography studios in Calgary, plus daily newspapers from Vancouver to Manitoba. This came after graduating first in the class in Journalism Arts at SAIT in Calgary.

Desmond has garnered more than 30 newspaper awards regionally, nationally and internationally; among those are:
• Twice won the top award of "Photo of the Year" in the CCNA National competition.
• Received 2nd place in Feature Photo category in Vancouver Press Club awards.
• Finished fourth in Canada among daily and community newspaper photographers for a year's accumulation of top photos judged through the Canadian Newspaper Photographers Association.
